Let me help you find your way back to the loving and nurturing relationship you had with your child before they became a teenager.
Even better than before!
Create Closer Connections for a household full of light, laughter and a sense of calm.
Live Harmoniously as a family supporting each other to thrive.
Become your child's influencer and inspire confidence and resilience.
You just don’t understand your child anymore they don’t communicate, nothing you say or do is right, and everything you thought you knew about parenting has gone out the window
You're continually feeling a sense of fear and dread, worried something bad will happen.
There’s more slamming doors, grunting, groaning, and eye-rolling going on than ever before, and you know there must be a better way of getting through these years.
You’re becoming redundant and under-appreciated. You’ve been the taxi, cook, laundromat, and Cheerleader on the sidelines encouraging, supporting and caring for them for years - now it’s like you don't exist, yet they still need you do these things …
You’re struggling to wake up from the cocoon of Motherhood
it’s been your primary role for so long, you’ve actually forgotten who “You” are when you’re not being Mum. It’s finally time to emerge and start nurturing yourself with the kindness and patience you've given to everyone else.
Learn to transition from caregiver of your small child, to the wise guide your teen now needs. Be their inspiration. They need it more now than they ever have.
Stop reacting and start responding. You will always worry, but how you respond to that worry is about to change everything.
Unlock your real mama power!
Rediscover your child. Rediscover yourself.
Show your children how to live and love life, and how to confidently achieve their dreams.
In a perfect world parenting would’ve come with a manual, life would always be rosy, full of laughter, and families would be deeply connected with open lines of communication, we'd all be living happy healthy lives.
Instead, just when you think you've worked it out, the teen years hit and the household starts to feel less in control, a bit tense, and sometimes you feel like you're walking on eggshells around each other, hoping not to someone off.
All the parenting books in the world can't really prepare you for being a mother. The day you bring them home is the start of a life long learning journey. From infant to toddler to child, they grow and change and what they need from your changes too, but nothing compares to the disruption that occurs when they start to yearn for independence and push the boundaries that have worked fine until now.
So HOW do you know what they really need from you now? When they don't open up and communicate like they used to, and when everything you say or do seems to be wrong? How much independence is enough or too much?
I haven't got a magic formula to answer these questions, BUT I can help you find some patience, calm and confidence to help you and your child grow together more respectfully and lovingly than before. In fact, you'll be amazed at how much new love and admiration you will feel towards them.
We (& life) are constantly changing. One day everything's fine, we feel we've got a good grip on what’s going on, then something happens...
It can be big or small, but it disrupts your world as you know it, and it can leave you questioning yourself, am I good enough, smart enough, strong enough, do I have the the tools to deal with whatever’s come my way.
My family life turned upside down when my son had a playground accident at 12, and left him with a brain injury.
It was a curve ball I wasn't prepared for. From happily and confidently raising our 4 children, I was thrown into a world of rehabilitating a disabled child while juggling the needs of running a household and continuing to raise our 3 daughters. The 'normal' challenges and needs of our other children didn't stop just because this happened, and it didn't take too long until I could see huge cracks forming in the solid foundation I had always provided for our family.
Even though I was a trained Health and Wellness Coach myself, it was not enough to help me heal from the trauma, anxiety, fear and exhaustion that I was living with every day. I was determined to grow from this place, to show our children how to face life with courage and conviction.
I sought help, I invested in programs, and I’ve learned so much about myself, I'm now happier, healthier and calmer than ever
I sought help anywhere I could get it, researched like I've never researched before, and continued to invest in learning everything I could about the human brain and our capacity to change. Fast forward, and today I am happier, healthier and calmer than I have ever been in my entire life!
What I've learned over the years, mixed with life experience and a lot of training has resulted in the creation of my Signature CHI Coaching program to support all mothers to continue to show up to life as the best and healthiest version of themselves.

I didn't realise I was lost until I really started to talk about it. I think your priorities shift once you have kids, your thoughts are all about this human being I am taking care of - so all the decisions that you make involve that child. She's helping me to find and reconnect with who I am again.

Philipa has a charming but 'no-nonsense' approach which worked well with me. I really enjoyed our coaching sessions and will miss them, but know that I'm in a better place to cope with the stresses in my day now.
Brianna, California
I feel like I am a different person. A healthy person. And I have energy for my kids.
Philipa made me feel positive and hopeful even when I was having a really bad day.
Jennifer, London
I really liked working with Philipa. I never felt judged. 'Doing the work' didn't feel like work! I really looked forward to our sessions.
Lisa, Altona
Glad you asked! Technically, it’s not neuroscience which will rewire your brain. It will be YOU who does that! However it is the research and study of leading neuroscientists around the world that has led to us understanding so much more about how our brain works, how it is wired, unwired, and rewired!
Neuroscience is the study of the entire structure of the nervous system. The Metamorphosis has been developed by Philipa Gleeson-Payne, a highly educated and experienced health coach, who has also studied with some of the world’s leading neuroscientists, to get the latest research on how our brains work.
Neuroscience is the study of how the nervous system develops, its structure, and what it does. Neuroscientists focus on the brain and it’s impact on behaviour and cognitive functions.
If you find yourself feeling like you’re stuck in a rut, or feeling overwhelmed by racing thoughts, worry and anxiety about your teens, then you’re probably worn down by the everyday demands of parenthood, combined with a need to address a repeating cycle of limiting beliefs and self sabotaging behaviours. Or you may need a breakthrough to create better habits of dealing with stress and looking after yourself. Either way, you need to change something.
If you want something to be different. You have to do it differently.
Never underestimate the power of personal transformation.
When our children were tiny, we accepted that they were little sponges who learned by watching us, mimicking us and repeating what they saw. They would copy us cooking a meal in their toy kitchen.
Nothing has changed now just because they are teens. They may be acting like a teenager (because they are one), but they are searching for someone to show them how to be an adult.
If we want our teens to be confident, calm, healthy and successful, to follow their dreams and to have a good self image, then we have to show them. We have to lead by example and be all these things.
The challenge is that as soon as they near the teenage years, they start to push our buttons, test their limits, refuse to listen to us, hide in their rooms, lie, sneak out, or a myriad of other behaviour which wear us down, worry us, and often lead to us feeling unappreciated, ignored, or lacking confidence that we know what we are doing. If we are struggling ourselves, then how can we lead our teens to be well adjusted, happy and successful adults?
“You get the best effort from others not by lighting a fire beneath them, but by building a fire within.”
– Bob Nelson
This program will not only change you, but it will change the way your kids see you. Only then is it possible to inspire and influence them.
"People don't resist change. They resist being changed!"
— Peter Senge
Absolutely and definitely yes! If your goal is to find a new passion in life, in parenting, in yourself, and you really get curious about who you have become and who you can be? Joining a small group Metamorphosis program will put you on the path to a new sense of meaning in your daily life.
Now is the perfect time for you and your children, for you to rediscover who you are, what you love, and how you can show up each day as your best self!
The full benefits of the transformation are as broad as you can imagine. Every client comes to the program from a different starting point and with a different goal in mind.
As well as addressing the core issue at hand, whatever that may be, it is common for my clients to report improvements in other areas of their lives as well, such as weight loss, improved eating habits, better sleep, less headaches, a sense of calm, increased energy, or improved relationships.

Let’s be real who hasn’t felt that sudden shock when your adorable child turns into a rebellious teenager, pushing boundaries and testing your limits.
They start to answer back, question your judgment and authority, and roll their eyes at you cos you’d ‘never’ understand what they are going through. And Suddenly they are seeking guidance peers, popstars and celebrities for information about life.
I not someone who is a “Coach” just by title, I hold a legitimate coaching certification and understands that everyone learns differently. We are all unique, our brains operate differently and coaching shouldn’t be a one size fits all activity. I’m also open, honest and will share both sides of a story in an unbiased way.
